There was a time when I was in complete denial. Deep down I knew I was fat. I have zero photos when I was at my heaviest as I did not like myself. 

I had no one to turn to for real advice. I was often told to just “eat less to get lean”.

So, I started to eat less and ended up becoming skinny.

How it started my body change and online coaching

Fast Forward + 5 years

This time I wanted to grow muscle and I was told – “EAT A LOT TO GROW”.

“You are young, now it’s your time, you can eat everything you want and you will grow”. 

Once again I was given incorrect advice. 

I was putting in a lot of weight, without gaining enough muscle.

My confidence was low because I ended up where I was 6 years ago. The only difference was having slightly better-looking arms.

People talk, but they do not know something very important – what is in you.

That was the time where something cracked in me and I was fed up with all of the bad advice I had.

I decided to invest in myself and the more I was learning I started to apply it to my daily routine.

Competition and Confidence!

Seeing how my life changed just because I invested time and resources to fix something that was bothering me for years, was one of my best accomplishments.

Having the courage to step on stage and winning a medal at my first show also boosted my confidence.

Because of my personal experience, I wanted to help people build their confidence and achieve a shape that they are happy with.

Life Happened

After getting myself into a healthy lifestyle and wanting to get into the fitness industry. The next step was to invest time and effort into my education, to enable myself to work with other people.

However, for a young still not ready coach, making an income at that early stage was almost impossible. I had to work another job and build up slowly.

Without much effort, I ended up neglecting myself and losing grip.

I was not able to maintain the well-balanced physique that I desired.

That was the time when I actually realized I need someone to: 

  • keep me accountable
  • talk with and discuss my nutrition
  • discuss my training, recovery, and how I feel
  • support me and mentor me
  • be with me when I am not motivated and ready to give up

Hiring a coach was the best decision in my life in regard to my fitness career. Having the knowledge and experience is not enough. Having someone to guide you and tell you “Now you have to push hard”, “Now, we have to slow down and rest the body” and etc, is crucial!

What I gained from having a coach since I had the knowledge?

Nutrition Updates: I stopped calculating my calories, checking my body how it changes, and daily making some edits to fit my routine. I had a conversation about it with my coach and everything was planned to help me get to my goal.

Training Updates: Having pair of eyes to look at how my physique is changing was a huge benefit. It made it easier to plan strategically my training split, exercises, and approach.

 

 

Mentoring and support: Like everyone I have my moments and doubts. In those moments I had someone to contact and share what is going on. A talk with someone I trust was a big change. It helped me to go through my moments. And that was even more felt when I was on competition prep and closer to the show!

Weekly Check-ins: keeping me more accountable. Even being a competitor and my discipline and willpower are strong, at the end of the day, I am human. I have moments where I feel weak and like “one bite won’t hurt”. But knowing that in a few days I’ll have a catch-up with my coach who will expect results helped me to overcome myself!

With Online Fitness Coaching, you will get:

Step to Success

  • Training Programme – gym, outdoor or home in regards to what is available for you
  • Nutrition Plan: it will be designed in regards to your lifestyle – PROs and CONs will be explained and you will receive constant education in this regards
  • Cardio Regiment – if it’s needed, how much, intensity and type could be regulated in regards to your BIO feedback
  • Supplementation – that could be required in regards to your nutritional desires and/or struggles, to help you to perform better
  • Duration: 12weeks +
  • Fitness level: Beginner, Advanced & Competitors
  • Workouts Per Week: 3 – 6
  • Equipment Needed – Gym(recommended), Home or Outdoors

  • Weekly check-ins:
    • Questions: you will have a template with questions to answer. Those questions will provide more BIO feedback about your body and mental state. This will help me to apply more accurate changes to your programmes
    • 2-3 videos – that is your responsibility to send me weekly videos with randomly selected exercises – this is in regards to me assessing your form and if it requires corrections and/or changes in regards to the desired outcome from the exercise. In addition, it will help me to see how your body is moving and if there is a need for further assessment
    • Photos – that is required to be able to determine the real progress that is happening with your body
  • WhatsApp Access – you’ll have me in a fingertip away. When there is a question that requires an immediate answer you will be able to message me.

One of the best decisions I've made in 2022. I spent 2.5 years going to the gym 6 times a week and doing my own research on what to eat to achieve my fitness goals. Here is the issue: just because the information is online doesn't mean you'll have the knowledge and experience to apply it properly. I started training with Alish almost 3 months ago and the results so far have been outstanding. I'm lifting heavier while being leaner than ever before. Alish is knowledgable, honest and receptive. He asked me questions no other PT had ever asked before regarding sleep, digestion and general stress levels. This makes a huge difference as he really understands what is happening with your body and is able to support you in every step of the way. The workout and nutrition programmes are adapted to fit your lifestyle and Alish is always quick to reply to any doubts you may have so you don't waste time second-guessing yourself. My form has also improved significantly thanks to Alish's comments and advice. From time to time I used to get back pain with deadlifts, but since he helped me fix my form I went from lifting 80kg to 102.5kg with no back pain whatsoever. I highly recommend him to anyone who is willing to put in the effort and make real changes to their physical and mental health. A word of advice: don't make excuses as Alish will see right through them 😉

I've been working out with Alish for nearly a year and the results are tremendous. I'm stronger, my form is massively improved, and my lifestyle is much healthier. Alish has taken care to understand my goals, encourages me in the gym, and checks in with me via WhatsApp. I particularly love how he regularly updates my workout plan to keep things interesting! When I started to train with Alish I had a clear idea of the goal I wanted to achieve but not about the way to get there. My intention has been (for the past year and a half) to increase my fitness level and my muscle mass, especially in my lower body. The reason was initially far from pure aesthetics but primarily for solving a physical problem caused by my averted hips which I had experienced since teenage and which was causing me bursitis to both knees and general (very painful inflammation all over my legs' joints). As I overlooked this over the years, it got to the point where I could not walk more than 20 mins without feeling sharp pains all over my legs. I therefore decided to start my recovery journey and started to train on my own, not knowing exactly what I was doing, and often making it worse using machines in the wrong way. So when I met Alish I had a high level of anxiety around machines and no confidence about my body's ability to change and progress. I did not believe in myself and saw myself as weak and my body as flawed. Alish helped me not only on a physical journey towards muscle strength which healed all my physical problems but most importantly he helped me change my mindset and my perception of myself. I went from feeling weak, thin, powerless to feeling energetic, strong and able to change my body and therefore my life for the best. Alongside the training program, he followed my nutrition from the start, which helps me to this day to keep track of the necessary calories and protein level needed to gain mass. He also advised me on the best products and supplements to buy, to boost my health at the maximum level e.g. best brands of Vitamin D, magnesium, protein powder. He allowed me plenty of time to really install these changes slowly, letting my body and my mind adjust, and he never once told me to deprive myself of something in my diet, instead he told me how to balance myself and my macronutrients which is probably the most useful lesson someone can learn in life. I am so happy I found Alish as my coach, he has truly changed things for me and I am very grateful, I would recommend him to anyone not only because he is extraordinarily prepared in his field (he will answer ALL of your questions with scientific proven fact and in detail!) but he is also, on the human side, truly capable of connecting with people and to therefore prompt them to be the best of themselves!

The training program couldn't get more personal than that. Alish is interested in the food you eat, air you breath, the bed you sleep and etc. He will be thinking in advance - for the next year + how your body might change and react and will try to make your regime as pleasant as possible.

I can personally say that I am slender all my life. My kilograms don't shift very often. But time and health issues will not pass you, my friends. Genetics is nothing if you don't have healthy life habits, if you are not persistent and you don't like yourself (and want to be or feel better) I was never after a real fitness body, but I wanted some changes, and this was it! Alish will give you all the attention and personal advice that you need. He won't generate some random excel table with exercises and food programs and leave you with it. He will ask you about your goals, health problems, about the state of your body (mass, exercise habits, etc.) If you are not ready to go from a lazy/overweight person to the physique of Supermen/ girl, that's ok, just let him know. He will listen to you. Alish will not break your spirit and tell you that you are too old or too fat to start, that you must know already at that age about different fitness equipment. He will help you if you let him. I can tell you from a fact that the first 6 months with Alish as a coach, I was at my best. I was feeling great, fit, healthy and I knew for the first time in my life what it is to be a winner. I had it all visually. So now I know how to measure my progress, not to be afraid to be better.

In the past, I’d always thought that having a personal trainer wouldn’t have much benefit on me and that I could gain similar results from self learning or using YouTube videos: I was wrong, as I didn’t see much benefits over time. After taking time off from the gym, I decided it was time to give a chance towards someone coaching me. When training with Alish within the first month, I realised that I had learned an overwhelming amount of knowledge towards exercising and my dietary needs. It was exactly what I needed, as someone as experienced as Alish was able to help me realise my faults and quickly correct everything in order to reach my goals. Alish is full of motivational energy which is great for those who needs a reminder of how much you can achieve! Overall, Alish is a great PT. I’ve always felt welcome to ask any questions about anything that I am uncertain about, even outside of training sessions! Alish is a great coach and PT to work with, having understood my goals and aims well. Not only was he great at motivating but he was also helpful in applying his trained experience and knowledge to get the better out of me. I started taking personal training sessions with Alish a couple months ago and it has been a very rewarding experience. Alish is very passionate about bodybuilding and has an advanced understanding of muscle building techniques. Alish is a fantastic personal trainer and a great guy. His knowledge and training technique is outstanding. He took the time to first understand the issues I was experiencing with my back pain and tailored the training programme to ensure that I was targeting the correct muscles in the correct way. He assessed how my body reacted to the training and made adjustments to the training programme when it was necessary. I had no confidence at the start to squat or deadlift due to my back pain, however, with Alish’s guidance I was able to very quickly master the technique and build my confidence. Every session was different, which made the whole programme interesting and challenging. I have recommended Alish to family and friends and would highly recommend him to others.
